报告人简介：陈世炳，中国科技大学数学系特任教授，青年千人，本科硕士毕业于北京大学，于加拿大多伦多大学获得博士学位。先后于美国MSRI和澳洲国立大学数学系从事博士后研究。主要研究课题为Monge-Ampere方程及其在最优运输和凸几何中的应用，近年来与合作者在Monge-Ampere方程的正则性理论上取得若干成果。
报告摘要：Monge-Ampere equation is one of the most important elliptic equations, and it has various geometrical applications such as prescribing Gauss curvature, minimal Lagrangian and etc. In this talk I will discuss the global smooth solutions to the Monge-Ampere equation with a natural boundary condition, which arises from optimal transport problem.
