专家简介：齐远伟， 美国中佛罗里达大学终身教授。他1982年毕业于北京大学数学系，1985年在中科院获得硕士学位，1990年在牛津大学取得博士学位。之后在美国 Iowa State University, University of Minnesota, Pennsylvania State University, University of California at Santa Barbara, University of Central Florida担任教职。齐教授是国际上有一定影响的偏微分方程方向的专家，自1994年以来曾多次在牛津大学、British Columbia 大学、中国科学院、清华大学等学校和科研单位进行学术交流；自1998年以来先后二十多次被邀请在世界学术会议上做邀请报告。齐教授的主要研究方向是非线性反应扩散方程及在生物中的应用。
报告摘要：In this talk, I shall present some recent results on the existence and estimates of minimum speed for traveling waves to a class of reaction-diffusion systems which appear in many important models in biology.
