专家简介：高建梁，博士，研究员。2012年毕业于英国北爱尔兰奥斯特大学数学与计算机学院。2014年至2016年任职于英国南安普顿大学工程系，2016年至今任伦敦帝国理工学院计算机系研究员。主要从事云计算平台在现代医疗上的应用研究。主持微软医疗云计算研究课题，获得过牛顿研究基金开放课题资助。曾参与英国医学研究委员会和欧盟资助的项目，研发了人体智能假肢传感器和大型医学代谢物组学云平台。
报告摘要：Big data has driven data analytics, online services, and application of cloud computing into new era. In healthcare industry as well as medical research, ease of deployment and tools usage, repeatability, reproducibility, scalability and security are highly concerned. To this end, microservices and the deployment in the cloud can benefit the need of medical research with big data. In this talk, Kubernetes and Docker containers will be introduced. Then the use of microservices architecture will be explained by providing user cases of medical metabolomics tools and medical MRI imaging tool. Some experimental results will be presented to illustrate the scalability of microservices in the cloud.
