报告人简介：李宇翔，清华大学数学科学系教授，研究领域为几何分析；1997年本科毕业于北京大学，2002年博士毕业于中科院数学所，2002-2006分别在清华大学和意大利ICTP从事博士后工作，并于2007年进入清华大学工作至今，期间获得洪堡学者资助访问弗莱堡大学一年。李教授在调和映射和Willmore曲面研究方面做了大量重要工作，文章发表在Amer. J. Math., J. Eur. Math. Soc., Adv. Math, Comment. Math. Helv., Comm. Anal. Geom.及Indiana Univ. Math. J.等杂志上。
报告摘要：In 2002 , Helein proved that a conformal immersion sequence $\{f_k\}$ from a 2-dimensional disk into $R^n$, which has bounded measure and $\|A_{f_k}\|_{L^2}$ will converge weakly in $W^{2,2}$. The limit is either a point or a conformal immersion. In this talk, we will give some generalizations of Helein's theorem and give some applications.
